Yummy food from Taiwan - Part 2
Sorry for the delay and here comes Yummy food from Taiwan Part 2:
After walking a few rounds in Wu Fen Pu wholesale garment area, we were sooo hungry that we decided to hunt for food.. it took us quite long to find food that's appealing to us.. at least with quite a number of patrons in the stall and with food that sounds not bad. So, we sat down by a roadside noodle stall near a temple in Wu Fen Pu.
I like this noodle =) This noodle is very smooth and the "brownish toppings"( seems to consist of some onions and mince pork) made the dish pretty tasty!
and here's our dinner at one of a fast food outlet near Danshui (The same outlet can be found in many other places too):
And We bought some donuts home for next day's breakfast... But i only managed to get one shot because i was the last one to get out of bed and my frens had already ate up theirs.. haha.. okie.. here's my dunkin donut:
At Jiu Fen, we saw this Big Hair Auntie selling sauages and we bought one to try:
Our lunch at Jiu Fen is one of the Famous Fishball stalls there:
By evening, we've reached Shihlin night market to taste more yummy food!!!
It's very different form our "Orh Lwah" because they fried with some green vegetables and they pour this brown sauce over the omelette. One of my friends and I dislike this certain smell of this dish.. and we couldnt tell if it's the vegetables or the brown sauce. Nevertheless, I still like the egg and the oysters!
Oh, i love this snack.. the outer layer is like some very soft bread and the inside is very Crunchy and tasty!
The sauage is wrapped over by glutinuous rice and this is really yummy too! My friend loves this one! (and I love it too! esp the cucumber.. i wonder how they made the cucumber taste so nice!)
Pretty much the same as the local one.. Except that it's not cut into smaller pieces- you have to bite it off the whole chunk, And it's not entirely deboned-our piece has a piece of bone attached to it. To be honest, i prefer our local Cripsy Chicken. =P
We chose Mango and Strawberry as our toppings.. Yummy~ it's very different from our normal dessert. We absolutely love it !
And we headed back to XiMenDing to eat the famous Ah Zhong Mee Sua:
This Mee Sua doesnt come with oysters. I think the "round stuff" are pigs' intestines.. i ate one and i didn't really like it.. so we just ate the mee sua.. the mee sua taste so-so because we didnt add chilli for the first time we ate it. We like it better when chilli was added during the second time.
